Services
We are a local cleaning company and have been around for over 17 years; we offer a wide range of cleaning services, we offer, Ironing, housekeeping or simply just cleaning services, we also offer help with pets in your home, we also do one off cleans including builders cleans and sparkles. We can also come along and help you with a party or even a funeral so you can relax knowing you have the help you need, we also offer wedding/party help, de-cluttering services, organising services and also carpet cleaning, in fact, if you need a service and can't see it listed, just call us, we love dealing with customers and have many fantastic cleaners male and female waiting for work.
This service is available from 2 hours per week up to 35 hours per week, with one housekeeper or two depending on what you need doing and how long it will take. Our housekeepers can come in twice a week, three times a week or Monday-Friday based on your requirements. We can also work on Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.
Estate agents often require properties to be completely cleaned, including windows, ovens, carpets etc prior to tenants vacating properties at the end of agreed lease terms. We can arrange all of this for you. Equally if you are moving in to your new home and don't have time to make it immediately liveable we can help.

"They take no responsibility" Use this company at your peril. Their cleaner smashed a pottery horse which was gifted to me by my late husband and therefore has huge sentimental value, but Lightwater refused to pay for the repairs saying that their cleaners are self-employed. This was contradicted by the cleaner in question who claimed that she was, in fact, insured by Lightwater.
Therefore I was stuck in the middle and have been forced to claim for the repair on my own household insurance, pay the excess, have a claim registered against me and incurred a substantial hike in premium on my policy renewal - all through absolutely no fault of my own. This quite apart from the fact that the item in question now has zero monetary value.
I cannot understand how the owner of the company has the gall to refuse to take any responsibility in such a scenario and simply wash her hands of the whole event. Her behaviour has been nothing short of disgraceful and in my opinion she should not be in business

We enlisted Lightwater cleaning to clean our house on a weekly basis with a 3 hour clean each week. They sent 2 different cleaners around, the first one I'd rate 7 out of 10 and second cleaner 5 out of 10. Each cleaner failed to complete the clean and the company kept tell us it was our fault instead of admitting their cleaners were poor and slow.
I cleaned the house to a better standard and completed more tasks than their cleaners did within the time frame of 3 hours. We've had companies cleaning our house now for a number of years and I would say this is the worst experience we've had. Avoid.

This company take 3 months fees up front, yet do not provide cover when you need it! I have been waiting for a cover cleaner this morning, as I have guests this weekend and a dinner to host. I got a phone call this morning to day one cleaner was ill and the other said it was too far to travel. I have subsequently just had another employee tell me that the cover cleaner had car trouble. They have refused to refund the fees. It is constant LIES LIES LIES from them DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT

We have had a contract with lightwater cleaning for over 3 years. Sadly in the last few months the services has changed dramatically. Our long term Cleaner became unreliable and we were provided with a new Cleaner who was caught by us cleaning for less hours than we were paying her for. We asked to change Cleaner again and we were provided with a Cleaner who took food and drink items from our house, smelt of alcohol and also cancelled our scheduled clean due to a hangover.
When we disputed this and asked To cancel our contract as we did not trust the cleaners in our property we were told we needed to pay for the quarter management fees and were threatened with a debt collection agency.
