When Jeff and Paul first started Rapid, their aim was to raise the standard within the commercial cleaning industry.

Rapid was founded back in 1999 by Jeff Whitton and Paul Claxton. Twenty years on, our head office team consists of 35 people managing 800+ cleaning staff. Rapid's senior management team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the cleaning industry. Jeff is one of the founding members of Rapid, signing the first ever customer back in 1999.

Rapid has been providing a contract cleaning service to the healthcare and medical sector for more than twenty years. Trusted to provide a thorough, reliable cleaning service to numerous hospitals, veterinary practices, doctors surgeries and dental practices in the south of England, we recognise the need for extreme vigilance with regard to health and safety.
Rapid provides a professional cleaning service to around 50 prestigious golf courses, leisure centres, health clubs, hotels, gyms and other recreational facilities across the south of England. Do not join this company if you intend on having a respectable stint at a job. Management only care about profit and penny pinching(literally in my case) on my final wage the company has made 2 unauthorised deductions to my wages which I am now in despite with them over. I've seen other names in the reviews and 4 of them are current employees and well known suck-hounds and have coincidentally all rated 5 out of 5 stars on their reviews, absolute laughing stock and so see-through.
Do not be fooled, avoid this company at all costs. I hope one day they get it right but as long as they looking at money over caring for their hard working staff, they will never prosper as a major cleaning giant.

Many of these customer reviews are not genuine and are posted by employees of the company. There are also a number of positive reviews by current employees which are biased. As Google states "please don't review your own business or employer" as this is against Google My Business Guidelines. Furthermore, when their cleaning staff do not turn up for work the area manager will tell you there is nothing they could do and it's not their problem.
We have had an awful experience with this company who are now wrongfully attempting to sue us for 1 year's cleaning in advance through the county court system. My experience with Rapidclean has been very positive. They have offered a professional and efficient service with very little disruption to the staff working on site. The staff are friendly and always do their best to ensure our offices are cleaned to the high standard we expect. I would recommend Rapidclean to anyone wanting a high standard cleaning company.

Was going well until we had a problem! We have used them since July last year and have had a couple contract managers during this time. We have a very good cleaner, however when she went on holiday recently we had a cover cleaner who did not do any of the tasks included in the cleaning spec. The only thing I saw him do was wipe down the board room door daily!
He failed to empty bins, clean the toilets, clean the kitchen, hoover, mop floors etc. I brought this to our contract managers attention daily and in the end, after a week and no improvement (and the chairman had been emptying the bins!), I requested a replacement cleaner who arrived the following week. After numerous emails and telephone calls with Rapid Clean, they refused to refund us for the week that we did not have any cleaning on the grounds that 'the cleaner attended and had been paid'.
After much back and forth, they eventually offered a 50% refund. I said I would gladly accept it if he had done 50% of the work, but he hadn't. Why should we pay for a service that we haven't received? Anyway, I have now given up spending any more time on it, but as soon as the contract is up, we will be looking elsewhere! In my opinion, this company is extremely unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend at all.
