Our mission at Kingsmaid is to provide excellent domestic cleaning services to the residents of Cheshire; areas such as Bramhall, Wilmslow, Hale, Alderley Edge and all parts of Greater Manchester and Lancashire. Kingsmaid Domestic Cleaning was established in Stockport, Cheshire in 2003. We provide high quality Domestic Cleaning, Carpet and Oven Cleaning Services at a competitive price. We offer several different Domestic Cleaning Services, our products or yours, 1 cleaner or 2 (or more if required) with the frequency to suit you - daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, six weekly. All our cleaners are extensively trained in the Kingsmaid Cleaning Method to ensure your home is cleaned as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Your home will be cleaned by one of our fully-uniformed and vetted team of Kingsmaid home cleaners on a day of your choosing and using our own specialist cleaning products and equipment. We operate a free fully insured secure key holding service so if you can't be there our maids can still fulfill your clean for you.
Your premises are already open (free, secure key holding service also available if you want your clean to be out of office hours). Daytime cleaning means you get to see your cleaners and ensure that the clean is carried out in a controlled manner. I have used this company in the past and was always pleased - however last week I booked a deep clean - and paid for 8 hours of cleaning. they did the stairs, bathroom, kitchen and 1 bedroom. They did not do porch, sitting room, dining room, hallway, bathroom or toilet. There deep clean was NOT a deep clean. I have tried to resolve this with the company and they refuse any refund and tell lies - DO NOT USE this company. they will take your money and not do a fair job

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who employed Kingsmaid for many years but this unfortunately ended on a sour note. The staff who came to the house particularly Vicky were amazing and great at their job and gave a great service. The same cannot be said of the management staff. My dad died suddenly in November and my mum was alone after 62 years of marriage and grieving.
She rang Kingsmaid to cancel their services and no one even offered their condolences. She was then sent a standard email which again did not mention her loss but informed there was a notice period. I rang the offices and eventually received an apology and they rescinded the notice period. We picked up the house key and no one mentioned anything about having to ask for a refund.
My mum then noticed that the direct debit had been taken at the full amount so rang to speak to the office. She was told that she was due a refund of over 200 and it would be paid into her account. 2days later she had not received this. I then rang the office to tell them they were disgusting and disgraceful in the way they had treated my grieving mum.
They informed me that they do not automatically refund the direct debit but that the customer has to request it. They could have done this when we picked up the keys. I was told that they had waived the notice period as though I should be grateful for this. They are totally insensitive and do not care about how people are feeling which is terrible especially when the staff who come to your home are really great.

I am delighted with my cleans! I have been a customer for a while but initially I was unsure about employing a cleaning service, having never had one before. I did lots of research on Google and Facebook and Kingsmaid seemed by far the most reliable and trustworthy- I must have read hundreds of reviews! whilst the quality was important I also wanted to be sure that the whole service was good.
The quality of the cleans is really high An acquaintance then told me that they used Kingsmaid and were very happy with them so I took the plunge and booked. The lady on the phone was lovely and everytime I ring the office ladies are angels! so helpful and friendly. The cleaners are lovely people (the sort of people you would be happy having in your house)I usually have the same cleaners but on occasion I have had different ones (holidays I assume) and they have been equally nice and just get on with the job. I wish I had booked sooner!

This company does not live up to its gaurantees or what they claim on their website. The service is abissmal - appointments cancelled without notice, or when the cleaners are about due to turn up, with no alternative provided and no refunds. If you cancel an appointment they still charge you, but if they cancel you get no claim. The cleaners they use are generally reasonable, but the administration is non existant.
We have repeatedly been let down and had promises that they have sorted things out, but it happens time and time again. Plenty of excuses, but no action. They do not care for their customers. Even the cleaners cannot say a good word about the managers.

Been using this company for 4 years and the customer service is abysmal. We were expecting the cleaners to turn up mid morning and got a phone call at 8.36 to say they weren't coming. Office staff are absolutely rubbish and all they could say was OK when I said I wasn't happy. The main reason is last time I was let down, they told me to remove my bad review but I wasn't able to, so now they have done it again. Cancelled contract. DO NOT USE.

We've used Kingsmaid for many years, at this house & at our last house, 13 years ago. One of our cleaners is still the same person! They are very flexible with arrangements when necessary, especially since Covid. They have to get a move on here & be self-motivated, to get through thoroughly in time, which our team certainly are

I am very happy with my clean today. Ryan came and did 2 hours on his own and what a fantastic job. Smells lovely, attention to detail and everything done and exceeding expectations of other cleans that are normally carried out by 2 cleaners. Always happy with results but today Ryan has really made my day. No stone unturned Thank you

Took the 8 hours recommended for an initial clean. Wasn't quite enough time for the whole house. They managed to get through all but one bedroom but they worked really hard and really pleased with the end result. We have signed up for a regular fortnightly clean and if its of the same quality as the initial one, we will be happy. Service: Standard clean

Thank you Kingsmaid, I was nervous about having a clean but really needed help- working from home with kids and dogs here and another adult in the house isn't great! The ladies were lovely and so friendly, I felt very comfortable with them here. They had on masks and gloves and socially distanced. they were cheerful despite the heat and worked really hard.
I needn't have worried about having them here, it was great. They used some special stuff to get rid of viruses which is reassuring. I am really pleased with how it has all gone. when i waved them off I realized there is a barrier in the car to separate the ladies - I hadn't thought about that being a problem, them being in same car but i did notice they socially distanced from each other - very reassuring that Kingsmaid is going to such lengths. I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations and I can now relax and not spend my weekend cleaning. I am looking forward to having them here again next time

Completely disappointed by cleaning service provided and the customer service when asked for help. When booked specifically requested priority of oven and bathroom cleaning due to end of tenancy. When ladies showed up they said to quote.this is going to be easy. Unfortunately on our return it was opposite to what we were promised. Owen was not cleaned, fridge was not properly cleaned, floors looked quite sticky due to products their used and bathrooms not the standard we expected. Called customer service and sent photos of the things we wanted to be rectified.
They called back tomorrow morning and did not want to hear about 50% refund (not in their terms and regulations). They offered to send a new team the next day for an hour but actually it was for half an hour (two ladies each 30 min). They did not rectify anything only upon completion went outside property and talked over the phone so that everybody could hear them saying nothing to amend. Very poor service. Do not book!

I have always had a cleaner called Dominique who is incredible. This review is noting to do with the actual cleaners. Why I would never use this company again and would recommend everyone steer clear from them is the 'back office' who have proven to me every single conversation that they are rude, incompetent and have poor systems that do not allow adequate notes and actions to be completed.
This company has taken money from my account that they didn't tell me I owed, didn't notify me, and actually told me I had a completely paid account when I called and specifically asked about. I have spent more hours on the phone to them then I have had cleaning time. The 2.5 months of using their services has been the most stressful and disappointing I have ever experienced.
I am now having to complain through an ombudsman as the company would not take any responsibility for their poor service and money taken from my account that I still do not know why and they refuse to refund. Please beware.

Kingsmaid provide an excellent reliable service with regular email communications including reminders and feed back requests. Until the recent self isolating regime I had the same two people for an hour every two weeks and they are friendly, courteous and do an excellent cleaning job. I understand that Kingsmaid have kept their staff in employment at this terrible time and I look forward to seeing the same two friendly faces coming to clean my house in the not too distant future.
