Edit to below. The team were very helpful in dealing with the issues noted and agreed to reduce the cost of service, equal to a donation to the RSPCA, which was lovely. They noted they were happy to have attended to cleaning outstanding, but I was out of time with a tenant moving in the next day. They explained payment up front required due to people not paying up after their service, but are going to work on their cleaning service quoting so it is more accurate.

Original post below Never trust a company that makes you pay in full in advance. A supposed deep clean consisted of a wipe down of surfaces, still gunk around shower grouting, which I cleaned in 30 minutes of cleaning. Smear marks on surfaces from a quick wipe. Some surfaces not cleaned such as tv stand and drawers in living room. I got charged circa 160 for a 2 bed small flat that only had 1.5 hours of cleaning time by my estimation.

That's 100 quid an hour, and you're not paying for expert and high quality service, just a wipe down. The oven clean was included in the above for about 35 quid. Why not invoice for a fair amount of work with a base deposit in advance? Totally ripped off and will be complaining further, no response to my complaint so far.

Today we had an end of tenancy clean with NG1 and are absolutely thrilled with the result. NG1 took the stress out of vacating the property, leaving it absolutely spotless! Claire has been so helpful from start to finish throughout the whole process and I could not recommend the company more. At such a competitive price we will without a doubt we will be using them again in future.
