I work with some fantastic people at GCC who, like me care a great deal about our business, our staff, our clients and our future. We are always looking at ways we can improve and in the 14 years that I have worked for the Company it has evolved into a business that I am proud to represent.

I have worked at GCC for nearly 20 years. The company has gone through various changes over the years - all for the good. It sometimes feels more than 'just a job' as I have grown up with the company and I enjoy my work. I thank GCC for so much over the years and look forward to seeing what the future holds.

GCC are a great company to work for. I feel like a valued member of the team. I have been an employee for nearly 1 and a half years and I love my role within the customer services department. Every day brings a new challenge, but with support from my peers and managers, nothing is impossible.

I have worked at GCC Facilities Management PLC for 13 years. When I first joined the company at 21 in the Telesales Department I had no idea what I wanted to do for a career. With GCC's encouragement for my development I have been promoted 5 times and am now the Finance Manager. GCC provides excellent training and development and staff are always learning new key skills.

The company recognises potential in all employees so when opportunities become available where possible they choose to promote from within. GCC is continually evolving and strives to deliver the best service.

Terrible company to work for i would recommend being on the doll before I'd recommend working here. Management have all of they're kids working in head office so they feel its ok to talk down to you as if you are one of they're children, they will try to give you a crazy workload but won't pay you any more then the mere peanuts they pay there employees, this is 100% the most depressing workplace i have ever worked at the office vibe is awful. if any management disagree with anything ive said here id be more then happy to discuss and give you some pointers on how to improve the company (Edited 20/1/2022 in response to reply from stephen hooley) if you would like a business consultation on how you can improve GCC i would be more then happy to discuss with yourself, However i do charge an hourly fee of 100 for the initial consultation but because i am a former employee and would like to see you turn this company around i will give you a discounted rate of 99 an hour or a full days rate of 750, if you would like to proceed you have my contact details so feel free to contact me and i will get a consultation booked in for yourselves.

I have worked for GCC in the field for over 10 years now, and in that time the company has developed and grown beyond recognition. I love the variety in the role and the ability to help so many people day to day. The company now focuses so much more on the ongoing service delivered to its clients, has added many more services in that time too, and has a dedicated team of customer service advisors so we can always look to quickly resolve and challenges that arise along the way, doing so whilst keeping health and safety and staff training as top priorities, so everyone backs me up with my work out and about. Are we perfect, no, because we have to rely on people doing what's expected of them from their detailed training, but it's never for lack of effort in managing our people well and understanding client requirements to keep delivering the service expected of us. Fortunately I see us get so much more right than not, as I and the people I work with care so much.

I didn't leave a review, I removed the false rating that management asked us to upload during my employment with GCC to mask the waves of truthful negative reviews left. I was not given the option to remove the review entirely. The response 6 months later is now why I am writing this, the toxicity of this company shows on it's own.

Do not use this company in any way. They have not provided a full service to our company during the pandemic last and still expected to be paid. Once we told them we had not taken out a new contract with them they have proceeded taking legal action agains our company to recover the full amount of the previous owners contract without even providing a service. DO NOT use this company, very poor from senior management down. Do your research and stay well away!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Worst cleaning company I've ever worked for. Wages always wrong. Never ever got cover when on holiday. Never replied to email's and calls unless you contacted them loads of times. So stressful never again

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Read every word of the contract twice before signing it. This is my opinion the worst company i have ever dealt with, excluding actual criminals. Terrible 3 year rolling contract which they wouldn't release is from despite complaining the secong time our cleaning was done.

I'm a cleaner for one of the offices they deal with. I started on the 5th October 2020 and GCC are great. Communication is great. They're great at dealing with any cleaning supplies I need. The branch manager and office staff where I clean are amazing as well. I felt welcome to be working around them. I just do what I gotta do whilst they're doing. theirs, I go straight into the kitchen area to put my bag a way and wait a bit if they're on the phone to their customers before I go out to the office space and ask to use their computer to call ezitracker to log in and out.

When I wipe the other desks that not in use I have earphones in listening to music as I know most of the time they're on the phone talking about confidential information with their customers so I rather not hear what's being said.

Brilliant company to work with, the service is great and the cleaning is to a very good standard, staff are very polite and professional i recommend this company 100% never had any issues with them

GCC is a hardworking reliable company that always turn up on time with smiles on their faces! Staff are friendly, talkative and get the job done to a high standard! They go that extra mile for their clients and never fail to impress. I'd definitely recommend this company!

If you are considering using GCC as a cleaning company, I would strongly urge you to reconsider and definitely do not sign up to their contract and terms and conditions. As stated below by other reviewers, their terms are punitive. Customer Service has been terrible and GCC are not answering answer questions that I am asking. A one star only because I can't give a zero.

I have had the pleasure of working with GCC for just over 12 months and I must admit they are the best company I have ever worked for. If you are looking for a family business who takes pride in their work and has the best interests of all their employees at heart then GCC are the company to work for. Excellent management team and all the support you need. GCC also pride themselves in staff training and always look to promote internally, excellent for people with a passion for progression. Would not want to work for anyone else.

Excellent service always received. Supportive office and field based staff always willing to go above and beyond to provide a first class service. Highly recommended.

Don't waste your time giving this company any of your money. Everyone they clean for has nothing but bad things to say about them. None of the clients they clean for are ever happy. And be warned, they will get you to sign a 3 year contract but it's not even worth the paper it's written on. Just don't bother wasting your time with this company when there are a lot of other more professional cleaning companies around. AVOID!

I have been using GCC for several months now and I am very happy with their service. Cleaners do a great job and always had a good response from their staff.

Our school has worked with GCC FM for just short of a year now, running up to their contract renewal. They have maintained a high level of professionalism and standards throughout this period. They have ensured the contract is always staffed, to the point of the Area Manager standing in for cleaners when two members of staff were absent. Excellent communication and attention to detail with full transparency. I have always had Spencer Fox as my Area Manager (Yorkshire) and this review relates to the service he and his on-site team have delivered to our site.

We have been with GCC for going on 5 years, our cleaners are like family and a great asset to our company, the odd service issue we have received have all been rectified in next to no time! The staff we have spoken with in head office have always been very easy to talk to and obviously take pride in their work. I can't recommend this company enough.

Bad business practice. Tie you in to ludicrous 36 month rolling contract if you don't cancel within a certain time period, expect an invoice of "notice in lieu" where they are comfortable charging you thousands of pounds for services they have no intention of providing. On that note, whenever the cleaners did turn up, it wasn't as if you could tell!

I have been a contractor for gcc now since september 2018. i recieved a phone call from the area manager asking me to hand the site keys back as the client has ended the contract. then i find out from the main client that hes not ended it and ggc just went in directly! why is there a need to lie? you say you try and build a working partnership with your contactors and clients. also this is funny how i paid my fees for the contract then this happens? I have also been told im getting a bill for the locks to be changed haha.

My husband has been working with GCC for about 6 months and we have several sites managed for them. We have never had one month where the remittance due has been correct We have been paying the cleaners and paying for supplies out of our own pocket. Each month we have to do the tedious task of double and triple checking of the remittance statement. and calling the office seeking explanations for short payments or missing payments.

However if there is a complaint or issue on the job they are quick to call us demanding a response. We find it astonishing that a company that treats its contractors with such disregard and lack of professional respect can still be in business. They must do this by considering there contractors expendable and quickly replacing them when necessary This company is diabolical, I have no idea how this company remains in business. Instead of responding back to reviews on Facebook respond back to your contractors and PAY US

A very rude sales woman doesn't make any good publicity for your business. Please don't hang up on people, especially when they take the time to speak with you even though they are not interested by your services in the immediate future. The potentiality of employing GCC was reduced to none when she did!

I got a reply to my heads up regarding the last review. It is interesting to read some of these. However I assume that some changes have been made, and if these people who own the companies that are less perfect will sit up and take note.

If i could give them a zero star rating, I would. Avoid this cleaning company at all costs. The cleaners they assign to you subcontract their duties to immigrants who cannot clean to save their lives. We put up with them for far longer than we should have under the promise they would resolve our issues. They did not and in the end refused to resolve anything unless we cancelled our request to terminate our contract with them and extend the contract further! Utter blackmail.

Their standard of cleaning is awful and we are left with a very dirty office as a result of their employees refusing to do simple tasks such as dusting blinds, wiping down surfaces with clean cloths instead of dirty ones and changing bin liners frequently. For what you pay them, they do so so little. Please avoid at all costs.

Friendly staff and a pleasure to deal with...most importantly they do a great cleaning job on my office.
